TESTIMONIALS

Coach Brett has been working with my 2 boys for years. He knows how to pull the best out them physically and more importantly, mentally. He’s a top notch coach that knows how to build a solid keeper and my boys will always reach out to him when they need help. He came to my 14 year old son’s  game when he was having issues and Coach Brett helped him mentally by talking to him at half time and then his game changed for the best.

Coach Brett creates a personalized practice plan for his sessions and focuses on the needs of the individual. He has helped Shane develop technical skills and proper pre-game activation. He relates to the kids on a personal level and fosters their love for the game and specifically the GK position.

Coach Brett pushes you to your limits but in a good way. He focuses on mental focus and strength while making training fun at the same time. He helps me apply the things we’re learning in training to game situations.

Our daughter’s confidence and skills have grown tremendously through goalkeeper training. Coach Brett has taught her the techniques and tactics to become a great goalkeeper, and whether in private or small-group sessions, her progress was impossible to miss. He didn’t just make her a better goalkeeper—he helped her believe in herself on the field.

Coach Brett has been an incredible coach and mentor for our son, Rafey. We have seen such a positive transformation in him. Not only as a goalkeeper, but also in his confidence, discipline, and mindset.

One of the things that stands out most about Brett’s coaching is the emphasis he puts on preparation. From stretching and dynamic warm-ups to getting mentally prepared before training, Brett has taught Rafey that being a goalkeeper starts well before the first whistle. Rafey has learned to approach each training session and game with purpose, focus, and the mindset that he needs to be prepared for whatever comes his way.

Technically, Brett has helped Rafey develop a much stronger understanding of the goalkeeper position. His positioning, footwork, handling technique, distribution, and decision-making have all improved. Rafey is becoming more intentional about his starting position, reading the field, understanding when to play short versus when to play long, and making better decisions when distributing the ball with his feet or throwing it out of the back.

Brett has also helped Rafey develop his ability to read the game and think one step ahead. He is learning to recognize what is happening in front of him, anticipate play, communicate with his defenders, and make quicker, more confident decisions under pressure. These are skills that go beyond simply making a save. They are teaching him how to truly understand and manage the position.

Most importantly, Brett has helped Rafey develop the mental toughness that comes with being a goalkeeper. There will always be difficult moments, mistakes, goals conceded, and challenges that can shake a goalkeeper’s confidence. Brett has reinforced that quitting is never the answer. Instead, Rafey is learning to reset, learn from the moment, and get back to work.

We have watched Rafey become more confident, disciplined, prepared, and mentally resilient because of Brett’s coaching. He is developing not only the technical tools to be a better goalkeeper, but also the mindset and character to handle the challenges that come with the position.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge, and dedication Coach Brett has invested in Rafey. His impact has gone far beyond goalkeeper training, and we truly appreciate the coach and mentor he has been for our son.
